3 Questions General Hospital Must Answer Immediately
General Hospital has left fans scratching their heads with a few unresolved storylines, and there are some key questions the show needs to answer quickly if it wants to keep viewers hooked. Right now, instead of keeping fans at the edge of their seats, they’re wondering what’s going on behind the scenes. Here are three crucial questions that need immediate answers:
1. Why Was Gio Sent to the Quartermaine Mansion?
With housing prices skyrocketing, the Quartermaine mansion seems like an odd choice for Lois (Rena Sofer) to send Gio (Giovanni Mazzo), especially when she’s keeping the secret that Gio is actually the child of Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zapronga). One key rule of keeping a secret is to avoid putting the person you’re hiding the secret from in the same environment as the secret itself. Gio is an adult, not a child who needs constant supervision, and there are countless other places he could have stayed. Why was Lois so determined to keep him in the mansion, especially with the potential for disaster every time Brook Lynn and Dante cross paths with him? Couldn’t Gio have gone anywhere else—like a university or even somewhere abroad? What was Lois thinking here?
2. Why Doesn’t Nina Use the Information She Has Against Willow?
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is desperate to break up Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison), so why isn’t she using the information that could instantly drive a wedge between them? If Nina really wanted to tear them apart, all she would need to do is reveal to Willow that she and Drew have slept together. That’s a bombshell that would definitely have Willow rethinking her relationship with him. Sure, it would harm Nina’s relationship with Willow even further, but at this point, they’re already at odds. So, what’s stopping Nina from using this juicy tidbit to her advantage? She’s clearly willing to team up with Carly (Laura Wright) for other schemes, so why not take this opportunity to use the information she has and solve her problem once and for all?
3. Why Didn’t Sonny Run a Background Check on Natalia?
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is supposed to be a sharp, paranoid mob boss who never lets his guard down. So, how is it possible that he didn’t run a background check on Natalia (Eva LaRue) when she entered his orbit? As Blaze’s mother, Natalia is a part of Sonny’s world, and anyone in Sonny’s world needs to be thoroughly vetted—especially if they’re close to his family. With the kind of power and paranoia Sonny exudes, it seems completely out of character that he wouldn’t have dug into Natalia’s past. If he had, he would have known she was Stillwell’s ex-wife. So, what’s going on here? Is Sonny really slipping, or is he just surrounded by incompetent people? Either way, this lack of foresight is a huge flaw for a mobster who’s supposed to be at the top of his game.
These are just a few of the pressing questions General Hospital needs to address if it hopes to keep its viewers invested and coming back for more.
